Hear It From Our Visitors

Real experiences from families, students, and nature lovers who explored Indore Zoo.

“I had a great time at Kamla Nehru Zoo! 🐒 The variety of animals was impressive, and the enclosures seemed well-maintained. We visited on a weekday and only waited about 10 minutes to enter 🦒. Definitely a fun outing for families! 🦁”

“I felt animals were very happy here. Nearly maintained. Lots of animals for kids to see and learn. Mirror room was added advantage. A very good food court available. Washrooms were also decently neat. You can buy tickets online as well. The snake park was awesome and has a separate ticket of 5rs.”

“Kamla Nehru Zoo in Indore is a well-maintained and clean place to visit. The zoo has a good variety of animals and birds, and the enclosures are kept in decent condition. It’s a nice place for families, kids, and anyone who enjoys nature and wildlife. The surroundings are green and peaceful, making it a good spot to spend a few hours. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Indore.”

Rohan Anthony

Visitor

“That vibrant blue-and-green macaw is perched tight on the green‑painted metal rail, its massive black beak open like it’s about to drop a squawk. The bird’s bright plumage—deep blue wings, fiery orange belly, and a sleek black‑gray face—stands out against the green foliage in the background and the netted enclosure roof. A human hand grips the rail at the bottom right, hinting at someone trying to get a close‑up shot of the majestic parrot. The worn paint on the rail adds a rustic touch to the scene, making the colorful macaw the unmistakable star of the photo, looking curious and full of life in its outdoor aviary setting. The whole vibe feels like a tropical snapshot where nature’s flashy beauty meets everyday human curiosity.”

“I visited for the 2nd time in the last 1 year and still it was a wonderful experience. The kids enjoyed it a lot, it was nicely maintained and the condition of the animals was very good. The main attractions were Bird Aviary, Reptile and Tiger Enclosures. Tigers especially were well fed and huge. Pay a visit once if you haven't yet.”

Vivek Bakshi

Visitor

“It was a great experience to visit Nehru zoo. The ambiance of this zoo is too good, it's like a jungle.. Lots if extinct variety were there. We thought to visit this within 1 hr, but it took 2hrs minimum to complete. Kids will enjoy this zoo heppily. And of course carry a water bottle with you, becase it's a huge area, and food zone is long away. Thank me after visit🤭.”
